The First Step

Cameron originally left high school for a job opportunity. He still loves his job, but was turned down for a great promotion. Cameron made the empowering decision to prepare for the next opportunity by finishing high school with the Discovery Centre!

Cameron explains, “Before I took the first step I remember thinking, ‘Can I do this?’ Guess what: in every step I took, I was doing it.”

Here to Help 

Even though he knew he was doing the right thing, going through the process of returning to school made Cameron feel nervous. When he finally reached out to us, our supportive team helped calm his jitters: “I said, ‘Look, this isn’t easy for me!’ They said, ‘We’re here to help’ and that’s what you need to hear.”

Every Step of the Way

The moment Cameron reached out, the team at the Discovery Centre offered their support, eased his nervousness, and assured him they’d help him with every step.

Cameron reports,  “[The team at] the Discovery Center had my back every step of the way— from the first step to today.”

A New Life

Even though he already has a job he enjoys, Cameron and the people around him know that he has more potential to explore. Cameron found a place to grow at the Discovery Centre, along with encouraging support to help him reach his full potential!

Cameron says finishing high school with the Discovery Centre gave him “more options, more confidence . . . a new life for me and my family.”
