Our Programs
At Discovery Centre, you can finish high school — no matter how many credits you need.
All of our Adult Basic Education (ABE) programs are offered at all three campuses: St. John’s, Harbour Grace, and Clarenville.
You can start anytime, day or night, and learn at your own pace.
And the best part? It’s free for most students.

I have a few years of school to finish
Even if you need more than a few credits, we’ll support you and help you get there.
Am I eligible?
If you want to finish high school at the Discovery Centre, you must:
- Be 19 years old or older. (If you’re under 19 and have already graduated high school but want to upgrade your courses, you can enroll.)
- Complete a number of specific courses. (Most of your completed high school credits will transfer over.)
